The Department of the Registrar of Companies and Intellectual Property announced the abolishment of the Levy Tax payment of the amount of 350 euros from 2024 and so on for companies that are registered under the Cyprus Registry of companies.

It is highlighted that payment of levy tax for years 2011 – 2023 is obligatory and companies that didn’t pay should proceed with the payment of penalty fees as well.

For those companies that have already paid the Levy Tax fee for 2024, the Cyprus Registrar will return the amount paid as follows:

  • For online payments made via JCC system, the extra amount paid will be deposited back to the card used for the payment and no action is required by the card owner
  • For payments made directly to the offices of Department of the Registrar of Companies and Intellectual Property, the amount will be deposited to bank account of the applicant after complete and sign a letter required.
