The Department of Registrar of Companies and Intellectual Property announced that all Cyprus Companies and other Legal Entities should submit Beneficial Owners details to the Beneficial Owners Registry until 31 March 2024.

It is also announced that:

- From 1st April 2024, any change in Beneficial Owner information for existing entities must be submitted to the Beneficial Owners Registry within 45 days.

- Newly established entities must submit beneficial owner information to the registry within 90 days from their establishment

- All entities must confirm their information contained in the BO’s registry every year from October 1st until 31st of December.

- When Companies or legal entities receive electronic notifications for mismatch from the Registrar of Companies, they should respond within 30 days by officials/ partners of the organization.
