Αll Cyprus companies regardless if they are dormant or not, have an obligation to prepare and file audited financial statements to both the Registrar of Companies and the Tax Authorities. Financial Statements of 2019 together with the Annual Return of 2020 must be submitted to the Registrar until 28 January 2021 and the Financial Statements for the year 2019 must be submitted to the Tax Authorities until 31 March 2021.
The Cyprus Tax Department, announced that the deadline for submission of the tax return 2019 and payment of the final tax due is extended from November 30 to December 15 2020.
According to the Cyprus Gazette, on November 2, 2020, the Cyprus Parliament, voted an extension to the VAT tax payment to payers were originally given the right to defer VAT payments up until November 10, 2020 for VAT periods ending 29/02, 31/03 and 30/04/2020. Based on the announcement Ν.147(Ι)/2020 , VAT payments for the above periods can be made in six equal installments starting from November 10th, 2020 to April 10th, 2021.
